As part of a change in municipal planning in Oshawa, the KY Building will adds 20 storeys of housing as part of a rapid densification to the city centre. As one of the first new building of this scale in the neighbourhood, much consideration was given to both the storefronts at street level as well as the urban scale tower shape.

Curved balcony edges clad in white metal fins playfully clad the rectangular building underneath, offering a unique but cost-conscious architectural expression.

Status: Rezoning Application and Official Plan Amendment pending.
